The Talent Development Specialist position supports the planning, communication, marketing, implementation, and evaluation of talent development programs. This position works closely with other members of the Human Resources team and Bunzl leadership to identify e-learning and virtual learning and development solutions that maximize performance of individuals and teams to achieve Bunzl's business priorities and objectives.
  • Assists and supports the overall implementation of Bunzl North America’s talent development programs to support business goals and achievement
  • Serves as the LMS administrator for Bunzl North America, accountable for working with regional HR Management and support to track and report the completion of all learning and development activities, ensuring compliance and accuracy
  • Works with LMS provider to plan annual course selection options, review usage rates, create marketing campaigns, and complete training audits. Proactively work to maintain licensing terms, and resolve any technical issues
  • Designs, organizes, deploys, and administers blended learning solutions using interactive technology, web-based, and other software solutions
  • Works with Bunzl Leaders to identify, develop, and administer on-line training opportunities and manages all internal content on the LMS
  • Coordinates all Bunzl North America training and development events, including scheduling, communication and marketing, facility arrangements, post-training follow-up, and other logistics as needed
  • Assists with measuring and communicating the performance and results of Bunzl’s learning programs
  • Supports Bunzl’s Trainee program through organizing an annual orientation event, measuring program completion, and tracking trainee placements
  • Leads the  administration of Bunzl’s Employee Engagement Survey, evaluates results, and prepares data and presentations for review

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years administering  organizational learning and development solutions including, e-learning design and development, and evaluation or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology or closely related field
  • Comprehensive understanding of learning program development, learning management systems, industry-best practices, and adult learning techniques
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power-Point and presentation software, Adobe  Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro software, Articulate Storyline, learning management system software, and other interactive learning technology solutions.  Experience with Skillsoft/Skillport LMS preferred.
  • Must have an established history of displaying a high sense of urgency, a business results focus, and have a demonstrated strong employee and customer orientation
  • Must have exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills, especially presentation skills; must be able to prepare reports and present ideas clearly and concisely
  • Must have the ability to effectively participate in project teams, keep team members on track and within a defined project scope and deliverables
  • Must possess demonstrated success with problem analysis and problem resolution
  • Travel when needed up to 10%
