Job Description

Christine Taylor Collection (CTC), a division of Bunzl Retail is looking to hire a highly energetic, self-motivated and detail oriented individual to fulfill our Internal Account Specialist position based in our Lincolnwood, IL office.

The Project Coordinator will work closely with the CTC Business Development team and provide support to identify project timeline, costs, prototype costs and issues with the development

  • Translate client concepts for visual props and design elements into sourcing approach and collect minimum 2 bids for all assigned projects
  • Log each project you are assigned onto company shared drive and keep up to date statuses about each of the projects. Keep Manager of Project Manager updated on status of all projects so each of the sales leaders understands status, time lines and next steps
  • Communicate effectively with CTC Business Development team and company customers to identify project timeline, costs, prototype costs and issues with the development
  • Develop prototype ideas quickly and cost effectively (submit all expenses and purchase order requisitions on a timely basis to purchasing for approval and purchase) Communicate and Set expectations with sales team on delivery date of each costing proposal
  • Coordinate complex projects using CTC Merchants project Management Tracking tool and verbal and written communication as needed
  • Conduct project research and determine feasible design, timeline & logistic alternatives to deliver “best value” solutions
  • Present project alternatives and recommendations and supplier development approach to Project Management Manager for review and approval ( involve sales team where needed)
  • Compile vendor/manufacturer analysis. Prepare pricing alternatives and make recommendations based on overall competitive market environment, general vendor suitability, time line requirements, and budget
  • Conduct pricing analysis detailing all sale terms (payment, shipping, tax, and production lead-time), product specifications, quantity, cost, price, gross margin, and total margin dollars per option
  • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion
  • Key point of contact on maintenance for our vendor catalog used to help quantify and grow supplier base
  • Revise projects as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • When needed, actively seek assistance from internal personnel to keep projects proceeding in a timely manner
  • Identify & recommend “add on” sales opportunities as they relate to specific projects
  • Report all project activity daily in an updated project management pipeline report
  • Provide Project Management Manager with monthly activity review including updated project pipeline report and categorized by job ( won, too high or project evaporated)


  • Bachelor\u0027s degree required
  • 1-3 years experience in Marketing or Merchandising a plus or equivalent field
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with all parties involved with our business
  • Positive attitude; willingness and ability to contribute to a positive work environment
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Internet Research
  • Attention to detail in a fast paced environment; ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to work independently and be held accountable for business results
  • High degree of self motivation; strong team player
  • Keen sense of urgency
  • Occasional travel (approximately 10%) to attend trade shows or suppliers
  • Local travel to suppliers for prototype development
