Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the primary focus of this role is to effectively collect, develop, and manage product content for all marketing and ecommerce projects. The Digital Content Coordinator role will have strong communication, organization, and time management skills in order to collect product data and content from manufacturers. Managing and updating product content through Product Information Management (PIM) software will also be an essential role of this position. This position works with internal and external business partners to ensure all product information and content development is being created, submitted and checked so the richest content is available for ecommerce, e-catalogs, sales support material, and all other content requiring data. This is an exciting new role with room for growth requiring diligent management of multiple concurrent work queues operating under ambitious deadlines.


  • Product Content Collection: Responsible for collecting product content, ensuring items have all necessary fields of information for marketing and ecommerce presentation.
  • Product Content Management: Oversee the addition of new items to the database ensuring all products are displayed in the system in the correct product hierarchy. Review daily/weekly reporting to identify items that can and/or need to be updated, added, or removed.
  • Product Content Development: Make necessary additions, edits and corrections to product data. Gather information on customers\u0027 reactions to products. Maintain awareness of competitors\u0027 performance.
  • Marketing/ecommerce Product Content: You will be responsible for building and maintaining a comprehensive controlled vocabulary database. Use available analytics to maximize search results and optimize our customer’s user experience.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Build relationships across the organization that will identify product content/marketing/ecommerce opportunities to improve our business and our customer’s experience.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support product improvement initiatives and other special projects. Work collaboratively to design new interface and content to make our product offering the fastest and easiest portfolio to navigate, search, and select products.


  • Bachelor\u0027s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Advertising or equivalent work experience required
  • Motivated self-starter with the interpersonal skills required to work with others in a collaborative environment
  • Expert in creative and business writing to include a strong command of grammar and punctuation
  • Previous experience with product information management (PIM) software or product databases a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office software (Excel, Power Point, Word, Access, Outlook)
  • Must possess strong communication, planning, organizational and time management skills 
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), CMS and PIM platforms a plus
