Keenpac, a division of Bunzl Retail, is looking to hire a highly energetic, self-motivated, and experienced individual to fulfill our Manager of Project Management position. Keenpac is fast paced, innovative, and visionary company that specializes in custom retail packaging, product packaging and packaging accessories. We are a hard-working, fun loving, laugh out loud bunch that bring our A game to every project we attack for our customers. 
The ideal candidate for this position will be an experienced and innovative leader with a strong packaging and production background. Knowledge of the overseas sourcing process is a plus. Responsibilities will include management of the project management team, as well as supporting higher level accounts. This person will be a key member on the project management team and instrumental in continuing to drive growth.
Project Management:
  • Oversight of the entire project management team that takes the sales teams inquiries and translates them into reality with primary focus on expediting and improving the current processes.
  • Develop metrics to track and identify ideal PM workload and plan and prepare for re-allocating or adding additional resources as needed to maintain the service levels and speed that allows us to secure orders.
  • Work on high level Account Management of some accounts to be assigned at a later date.
  • Collaborate with the Sourcing Manager to assure that our vendor base is properly aligned with our current and future customer needs. Identify and set goals for securing new vendors based on a needs analysis.
  • Participate in the process for identifying new vendor sourcing opportunities both domestically and internationally.
  • Key focus on driving continuous improvement through enhanced efficiencies of processes throughout the organization.
  • Identify, lead and develop talent in order to maximize individual, team and organizational effectiveness to meet company goals.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with concentration in business or packaging preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work as part of a geographically dispersed team. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate thinking, logic and decision-making rationale.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all parties involved with our business. International relations experience
  • Positive attitude; willingness and ability to contribute to a positive work environment
  • Highly Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and Internet Research
  • Organized with a focus for details in a fast paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to work independently and be held accountable for business results
  • High degree of self-motivation and keen sense of urgency
  • Ability to travel to suppliers, customers and trade shows
