Job Description

YOUR DAILY ROUTINE
 
  • Initiate production run set up by calculating length of draws and web measurements to produce multiple size vacuum pouches
  • Set up machine to run multi-lane bags with fin seals on high-speed production equipment
  • Monitor efficiency of equipment
  • Analyze production problems and adjusts equipment accordingly
  • Check for vacuum pouch seals and any other possible defects
  • Checks materials to ensure for quality
  • Helps other Machine Operator and/or Packers by stepping in and working as a team when needed
  • Keeps production area neat, clean and orderly
  • Fills out manufacturing orders
  • Keep accurate times of production runs
  • Fill out weekly production log work sheet accurately

Job Requirements

  • Ability to write, read, and communicates effectively
  • Good math skills
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Ability to diagnose and correct production problems
  • Knowledgeable of PLC controllers and pneumatics
  • Proficient with hand tools
  • Team player
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand continuously during shift
  • Ability to work third shift
  • Material conversion experience preferred
