The Inventory Control position will comply with and maintain records of quantity, type, and value of physical inventory.

  • Enter data for quantities of parts issued and transferred between locations, inventory and cycle count adjustments, into computer database.
  • Analyze/research non-shipments and correct accordingly.
  • Receiving Report:     Verify product received and analyzes/research discrepancies and take corrective action as needed.
  • Cycle Counting: Verify clerical computations against physical count of product and adjust errors in computation or   count, or investigate and report reasons for discrepancies.
  • Maintain various reports.
  • Reconcile inventory between Distribution Centers and Headquarters.
  • Run a daily inventory check for non-fillable orders.
  • Maintain warehouse bins on systems: Clear bins, bin transfers and check stock against losses.
  • Prepares reports of unusable items.
  • Performs Replenishment activity; evaluates Replenishment levels (min/max)
  • Operate PIV including but not limited to Forklift, Reach Truck, Stockpicker
  • Assist Purchasing and Customer service with item/inventory inquiries


  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of one year experience in inventory control
  • Must be experienced in working with spreadsheets, databases and inventory systems
  • Experience with High Jump warehouse management system
  • Must be detail-oriented and pay close attention to accuracy
  • Must have the ability to analyze information gathered in order to identify potential problems or discrepancies
  • Experience/Capacity to understand slotting strategies, profiling items to maximize efficiencies
  • Computer skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with internal and external customers
  • Ability to work independently
  • Dependable: ready to start work at designated start time
  • Operates various Personal Industrial Vehicles (PIV) to include forklift, reach truck and stock picker
