YOUR DAILY ROUTINE
  • Operate tractor-trailer combinations in a safe and professional manner 
  • Deliver products to your customers on time, while providing flawless customer service
  • Transfer deliveries from trailer to dock or other designated area by hand or designated warehouse equipment
  • Maintain DOT electronic logs  and comply with all other DOT procedures/regulations 
  • Conduct Pre and Post-trip inspections of tractor and trailer units, in compliance with DOT regulations
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment – Your truck is your office

Job Requirements

BUNZL DRIVER QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
  • Must have a valid CDL Class A license with Doubles/Triples endorsements a plus 
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial transportation or a graduate of an accredited truck driving school 
  • Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment is a must
  • Capability to operate a tractor-trailer in a safe and efficient manner
  • Knowledge of all applicable State and Federal DOT regulations
  • Capacity to read and correctly interpret route manifests and invoices
  • Ability and willingness to work varying routes and required overtime as assigned by Supervisor
  • Must be able to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
    • Up to 75 lbs.
  • Experience with an Automatic On-Board Recording Device such as OMNI Trax is preferred
