Responsibilities:

  • Social Media and Digital Marketing – manage integrated online content and schedule posts on multiple platforms to grow the company’s online presence while presenting feedback through social and online listening strategies
  • Content development – support marketing campaign development and execution of blog posts, articles, newsletters, social media content, and other communication materials
  • Report on and continuously optimize social/digital marketing campaigns and tactics through analysis of data and metrics, insights, and best practices
  • Stay current on social media, digital trends, and tools – actively seek ways to optimize current channels and expand into additional platforms
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and various cross-functional stakeholders to develop integrated initiatives that align with the company’s broader strategies and goals
  • Email marketing design, creation and execution
  • Develop, contribute, edit and publish web content for multiple company websites in various segments and industries
  • PPC, SEO, Keyword and meta optimization across multiple sites and online platforms
  • Assist in the creation of press releases, editorials and product content

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of work experience in digital content creation position
  • Full-Time Position based in Chicago suburb
  • Ability to utilize metrics to report on campaign performance, including conversion ratios, engagement rates, and other KPIs for analysis and decision-making. Experience with tools like Google Analytics, Mail Chimp, Wordpress, Joomla, SiteCore, Insite, InRiver, or other DAM/PIM sites a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Strong editorial mindset with a focus on understanding what our customers buy and how to create engagement
  • Social media content development experience and a passion for writing for different digital platforms and social channels
  • Demonstrated knowledge of best practices of main social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pintrest, Vimeo, YouTube).
  • Experience creating SEO driven content for digital use on websites and growing social audience engagement. SEM and paid media advertising experience a plus
  • A high degree of self-initiative, entrepreneurial spirit, and the potential for continued growth
  • Excellent project management skills and understanding of how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc) experience a plus
  • Passion for helping others
  • Excellent work ethic with a high energy level, motivation, enthusiasm, and ambition
  • Proactive, outgoing, positive can-do attitude, honest, high integrity, self-motivated and ability to work well within a team environment
  • Passion for creating online digital experiences
  • Understanding of current social media trends, guidelines and engagement strategies
