Job Description

The Customer Service Rep will answer inquiries on customer accounts and investigate any issues and find resolutions in a timely manner. They will serve as the liaison between the sales staff and the customer.

Responsibilities:

• Answering customer inquiries in timely fashion; responding with regular updates.
• Entering, reviewing, and successfully processing orders daily (15-30).
• Investigating customer problems and/or complaints to successful resolution; following company procedures and alerting management about reoccurring issues.
• Timely communication with internal and external customers about all order concerns and status updates.
• Regular review of open orders.
• Maintaining relationships with both internal and external customers with exceptional service.
• Function as a liaison between customer service and other branch departments, National Accounts and/or Sales Representatives to provide product pricing and product research.
• Expediting orders as required; working with multiple departments and monitoring key orders through the entire process.
• Working effectively in a team environment to meet business goals and objectives.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
• High School graduate or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of customer service experience. Bachelor\u0027s degree and call center experience preferred.
• Ability to effectively work in a Windows environment with experience in Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Experience with SAGE operating system a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem solver with the ability to multi-task using judgment and decision-making skills.
• Quick learner; adaptable to new and changing procedures to meet evolving company needs.
• Excellent detail-oriented customer service skills.
