Job Description

As a Customer Service Representative you will represent the company and act as an internal liaison and handle customer orders, inquiries and complaints to ensure complete customer service and customer satisfaction. You will have extensive phone contact on a daily basis with various store managers placing and handling their orders.

Shift: 9am - 6:00pm

  • Order entry and/or release from a variety of sources to include credits and debits
  • Order tracking, expediting, and re-consigning with the assistance of the transportation department
  • Expedite emergency requests
  • Coordinate with support areas (purchasing, billing, sales, traffic and the distribution centers) in order to access information necessary to handle customer inquiries/requests.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules in order to satisfy customer requests
  • Maintain/update information in the system in order to keep customer records updated
  • Document and amend customer complaints to include call reports, apology letters, credits and replacement orders
  • Create return authorizations and issuing credits for non-authorized returns to the distribution facilities
  • Research order history and/or open orders to answer customer questions regarding product usage and ordering patterns
  • Create order templates in order to facilitate the order entry process
  • Shipment follow-up
  • Assist with new account set-up
  • Assist with special client requests, such as push orders and mailings


  • High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor\u0027s degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of direct retail store or customer service experience a plus
  • Ability to effectively work in a Windows environment with experience in Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem solver with the ability to multi-task using judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent detail-oriented customer service skills
