  • Investigate and work to resolve any Business case issue related to the various work groups within the Brainware/DataServ systems
  • Highlight material errors in the accounts and assess compliance with established procedures and laws
  • Ensure AP issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
  • Assist with maintaining processes and audits on a continuous basis
  • Submit Debit Memos to Brainware/DataServ to be deducted from manufacturer invoices
  • Send signed W-9s’ to Brainware/DataServ to be on file
  • Request new vendor numbers from Bunzl corporate as requested by Purchasing/Merchandising
  • Communicate Warehouse receiving errors to Accounting
  • Run Receiving reports daily
  • Process Check Requests
  • Run RBNI’s Daily
  • Maintain PO Files

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of accounts payable or related accounting experience; experience in a shared service department preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable work processes
  • Must have the ability to work independently, be detail oriented and self motivated
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with AS400 a plus
  • Experience with DataServ a plus
  • Capable of organizing multiple work responsibilities to meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
