Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator is a junior level position assisting with Product Development, Marketing Communications and Graphic Design.
  • Analyze sales and market data to provide factual overview, identify trends and make recommendations for future activities
  • Conduct review of internal products category lines, working with internal departments (i.e. Purchasing, Product Development, Marketing) to create marketing collateral packages for Sales teams
  • Conduct ongoing research of market trends, product trends and competitor analyses; maintaining internal database and tracker for departmental reference
  • Primary point of contact for internal document review, content management and proofing of marketing collateral
  • Responsible for the maintenance of website content, working closely with 3rd party provider to ensure products listed online are accurate and effectively promoted
  • Work with internal teams to develop SEO/SEM campaigns, ongoing tracking, and overall campaign summaries
  • Assist with the content development, vendor participation and arrangement of McCordick Newsletter
  • Develop, maintain and utilize email list database – experience with Constant Contact preferred
  • Assist with/complete photography of products for internal system, website, social media, flyers, etc. as needed
  • Maintain digital library and database for easy internal reference, linking to warehouse management tool, website, etc.
  • Update/Change/Maintain existing marketing collateral, specifically sell-sheets and customer-specific presentation material

Job Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing or Graphic Design preferred
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) skills
  • Graphic background (CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop)
  • Ability to disseminate and communicate complex information
  • Superior Grammar and Communication Skills
  • Website Maintenance Experience
  • Ability to work independently or on a team and be held accountable for results
  • High degree of motivation
  • Highly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking and time management skills are essential
  • Dedicated team player with strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience in Photography an asset
  • Bilingual – French/English is an asset
