Bunzl Safety is a part of Bunzl Distribution and is comprised of leading PPE companies like Cordova Safety Products, John Tillman Co., Majestic Gloves and Safety, SAS Safety Corp., M.L. Kishigo, R3 Safety and Steiner Industries.  This division is seeking a Business Analyst to work closely with the senior management team to help in analysis of business data relating to sales, marketing, and procurement of products globally. The position reports to the Division Vice President and will be based out of the Cordova corporate headquarters in Memphis, TN.
  • Work with VP to understand the PPE market, and each of the market segments in which the company operates
  • Research, analyze, and monitor selling prices and costs for each of the companies
  • Evaluate productivity by product line, make recommendations for changes in order to take advantage of market conditions
  • Develop and communicate all company’s periodic reports on market activities on both sales and procurement

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, computer science, economics, mathematics, or related field work; MBA preferred
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a business intelligence or data analysis role required
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience required
  • Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to talk to and present to a range of audiences
  • Demonstrated experience in business analysis and reporting
  • An well versed understanding of information technology
  • Able to demonstrate considerable creativity in regard to new ideas and initiatives
