Job Description

The IT Manager will be an integral part of how Majestic Glove does business daily.  This position will interact will all departments within our organization and select companies we collaborate with globally.  The IT Manager will also be the main point of contact for employee who are experiencing computer issues. Responsibilities:

  • Assist end users in resolving hardware and software issues by utilizing phone and email communications, diagnose problems and perform troubleshooting activities.
  • Document, track, and monitor the problem to facilitate a timely resolution.
  • Assist personnel with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of system hardware and software.
  • Install, maintain and repair telecommunication components to ensure the network is functioning at peak efficiency.
  • Work under general supervision and usually reports to a supervisor, though some ingenuity and flexibility is required.
  • Configure, test, maintain, and resolves issues related to LAN.
  • Provide troubleshooting support to end users. Installs workstations.

  • Install, test, monitor, upgrade, troubleshoot, and repairs computer systems, networks and peripherals.
  • Manage user account information, including rights, security and systems groups. Learn the functions and back end of our software program.
  • Protect customer data from outside infiltration through encryption, secure data storage and other necessary means.
  • Document interactions with end users and recommends improvements. Evaluate operational efficiency of different IT systems.
  • Ensure that security software is properly installed on employee computers.
  • Develop new strategies and IT procedures to increase efficiency, enhance workflow and improve customer satisfaction. Offer suggestions for possible upgrades and changes within the organization.
  • Works under general supervision and usually reports to a project leader or manager, though some ingenuity and flexibility is required.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in IT-related position
  • Associates Degree (Baccalaureate degree preferred)
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations
  • Understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience
  • Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality required
  • Industry certifications and memberships a plus
  • Excellent IT, communication, leadership and management skills
  • Ability to fill multiple roles simultaneously
  • Proven track record of maintaining IT structural integrity
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills
  • Bilingual a plus
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must possess a basic understanding of computer network cabling
  • Strong background in server management and software installations and upgrades
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
  • Experience with Wi-Fi warehouse mobile equipment
  • Windows 7 & 10, Datacenter 2012, Server 2008, UNIX
  • VMWare Familiarity (vSphere, VMware View Administration)
  • SAP (ERP Central Component, Process Integration & Business Objects)
  • Document Management (Laserfiche & Management Procedures)
  • Help desk (Printers, Desktops, Mobile Equipment, Zero Clients)
  • Cisco / Meraki (Firewall, Switches, AP’s, VPN)
