BUNZL IS KEEPING BUSINESSES MOVING
The operations manager will play an important role in the company and will serve as the conduit for all things day to day. The position is newly created and will demand a high level of attention to detail, an ability to communicate with all levels of the organization such as Sales, Logistics, Accounting & Customer service. We are looking for a trailblazer who can take initiative & solve problems in a proactive way, while simultaneously documenting processes & training our team members which will ultimately make us a more efficient organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the operations of Customer Service, Accounting, Purchasing & Logistics departments.
  • Assist with upcoming planned transition from QuickBooks to AS400 system, working closely with corporate personnel & in-house accounting staff.
  • Manage accounting staff including data entry, billing, AR, EDI, credit approval, etc.
  • Work with local production team & management to ensure cost sheets & bill of materials are accurate.
  • Responsible for oversight of all company inventory including 5 3PL locations, Amazon & Major account replenishment items.
  • Work closely with logistics department on all inbound containers & ensure proper receipt into the AS400 system.
  • Facilities management, handle basic IT questions & IT communications with corporate & outside provider.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2-5 years demonstrated experience in Operations.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Accounting is preferred.
  • Must possess strong communication, analytical & effective decision-making skills.
  • Strong or some knowledge of AS400 system will be helpful.
  • Proficient in complete Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word & Excel.
  • Must be organized, proactive with strong time management skills. Experience working with reports, budgets & have a strong aptitude for numbers & business acumen.
