The National Accounts Department currently has an opening for a Sales Associate/Project Manager.  Successful employees in this job will establish a good rapport with the National Account Managers, and will be assigned the role of managing specific projects from start to finish with regular interaction with customers.  This person will assist and support the National Account Sales Management team.
  • Ability to read data, merge spreadsheets, manipulate data and create sales reports
  • Liaison between National Account Manager and key decision makers at our national account customer locations
  • Prepare, process, review and monitor various sales reports for national accounts
  • Work closely with Sr. Dir, of Product Development to identify customer cost savings opportunities and communicate those savings to the field 
  • Gather customer cost savings initiatives from the field and report back to customers
  • Gather and prepare plant audit information for purchasing and sales
  • Prepare and analyze monthly Sales Analysis Reports
  • Utilize the AS400 System to download and acquire essential customer specific information
  • Consistently evaluate work and determine if further steps are needed to meet customer expectations
  • Creates and uses pivot tables, formulas and macros
  • Responsible for price management, item management, system and data management
  • Interface with our customers items and data management
  • Travel to plan locations for cost-savings implementation
  • Sales Rep responsibility for limited plants/locations

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two year's related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training
  • 1-2 years previous Sales experience highly preferred
  • Must be proficient in Windows (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access
  • Working knowledge of MS Project is preferred
  • AS400 knowledge preferred
  • Effective written communications skills including the ability to write business correspondence such as letters and memos
